The sodium methoxide and methanol are used as raw materials, and a chemical reaction is carried out by a batch production process to produce a sodium methoxide methanol solution. Its reaction formula is as follows: 2CH3OH + 2Na - 2CH3ONa + H2↑

Sodium methoxide sodium production process

The sodium methoxide and methanol are used as raw materials, and a chemical reaction is carried out by a batch production process to produce a sodium methoxide methanol solution. Its reaction formula is as follows: 2CH3OH + 2Na - 2CH3ONa + H2↑

This production process is mainly divided into four parts:

1. In the feeding process, the industrial methanol is pumped to the methanol measuring tank, and 120 kg of metallic sodium is put into the reaction kettle.

2. Nitrogen replacement process, close the feed and vent valve, pass nitrogen into the reaction kettle, make the pressure gauge index reach 0.1MPa, open the vent valve to relieve pressure, repeat three times and then return, the vent valve keeps open and continue to pass nitrogen

3. In the reaction step, the condenser is passed through the cooling water, and methanol is immediately added to the methanol metering tank (note the methanol addition rate), and the reaction is carried out. After the reaction is carried out for 5 to 10 minutes, the introduction of nitrogen gas is stopped. Continue to add methanol, meter 820kg of methanol in 2~3h, close the methanol feed valve, continue the reaction for 2~3h until the reaction liquid has no bubbles.

4. The blending process, adding the product to the blending tank, sampling and analyzing, and blending to the required concentration, loading the barrel.
